A few inches of snow fell through the day bringing lots of birds to the feeders. A Common Redpoll and a Purple Finch were the most unusual birds seen. The Red-shouldered Hawk put in an appearance this afternoon, perching all around the yard and making several runs at the Mourning Doves. A late afternoon image below (rain & very low light...:)

Great shot! The only time I have seen a red-shouldered owl was in Florida. Would love to see one here though.
