The "partial" Mourning Dove carcass was left as seen in the image below, I'm assuming the Screech is using the box to cache the remains for a later meal. It will be interesting to see how long the remains remain....:)

Screech Owl - Post Snow Storm Visit - Jan. 13, 2011
Though I haven't seen either of the Screech Owls in any of the boxes in the yard for several weeks now there was clear evidence of a visit to one of the boxes sometime last night between 9pm when I finished shoveling out the feeders and 5am when I first looked out this morning.
The "partial" Mourning Dove carcass was left as seen in the image below, I'm assuming the Screech is using the box to cache the remains for a later meal. It will be interesting to see how long the remains remain....:)
